Laura Prochowski is an artist and designer working on Gadigal Land in Sydney, Australia.

Design and textile illustration underpin Laura’s creative path. Having worked with internationally celebrated fashion and interior brands since 2012, Laura’s sought after illustrations feature on statement pieces in Australia, Europe, Asia, Canada and the USA.

Shifting to oil painting in 2021, Abstract Expressionism has informed Laura’s gestural style. The artistic possibilities and freedom opened up by abstraction inspire Laura, leading them to further develop their unique voice in this space.

Sustainability, the political nature of current modern landscapes and movement being one of life’s necessities are themes interwoven throughout Laura’s practice.
